Great Tips To Help Women Keep Health Resolutions In 2014

Dr. Geno Tutera
As time wears on and New Year’s Eve feels long ago, we tend to forget the reasons we chose our New Year's resolutions, especially the resolutions that pertain to our health. We all get busy with every day life & our yearly goals sometimes get pushed to the back burner.  Family, work & responsibilities sometimes take precedence over taking care of ourselves. With this blog, we have compiled some fabulous tips to help you keep your personal health resolutions even when the journey becomes difficult. After all, we think your health should be your most important priority this year & in years to come.

Make it Visual
Get creative and make a visual representation of your goals. Are you trying to lose weight? Put two jars side by side. Fill one with the same number of pebbles as pounds you want to lose and leave the other empty. For each pound you lose, take one pebble from the full jar and place it in the unfilled one. You’ll be motivated to keep putting pebbles in that jar and empty out the other one
Ask Around
Check out Facebook and Twitter. Do some of your friends or relatives have similar health goals? Ask if you can team up and achieve your goals with flying colors. Having support is of utmost importance when embarking on a new journey. It will be a great excuse to call them when you need someone and it will be a positive experience for them to have someone to encourage them as well.
There’s an App for That
Are you trying to save money? Are you trying to eat healthier? Are you trying to stay organized? Are you trying to spend more time with your family? There are apps for all of those resolutions and more! There are even apps that help you monitor how much water you drink every day. You can keep track of the food you eat with a number of different apps that allow you to directly input or scan the barcode of what you’re eating. Often built in with programmable reminders, these apps can help you stay on track to achieve your goal
Be Open to Reevaluation
Don’t beat yourself up if something isn’t working. Look back at what you set for yourself and be open to revisions. Do you physically not have the time to get to the gym for two hours a day three days a week before it closes? Then look into workouts you can do in the comfort of your own home when you can’t make it in. You’ll still be staying fit but you won’t be as stressed on those days that you can’t get there.
Keep Hormones Balanced
It isn’t easy to try your hardest when you don’t feel like yourself. Visit your doctor and ask about the SottoPelle Method. Our method works with your body to bring back your energy and keep your hormones in balance. Each of our pellets are made especially for our patient so that they will be exactly what they need. You can get back to being yourself and achieving your goals faster than you thought possible when you made them.
